Outline Program

The schedule of this team building exercise is described hereafter. To start off, the participants (hereby called delegates) are expected to use an ingenious icebreaker to find out which team he or she fits in well, and then move to an allocated area. A facilitator then introduces himself/herself to each team and then explains the tasks ahead. In each team, each delegate is given a blank branded game card where they write down their 3 personal and 3 professional characteristics. Then the first phase of this event commences with the delegates meeting anyone, and then identifying those with whom they share one common characteristic. A simple, yet fail-safe tally system then awards a point to each delegate who finds another person with whom they share a single characteristic. After that, the second phase begins whereby delegates are expected to identify those with whom they share two common characteristics. At this juncture, the tally system is used to award one point to each delegate who finds another person with whom they share two characteristics. Thereafter, the third phase begins whereby delegates are expected to identify those with whom they share 3 common characteristics. Then the tally system awards a point to each delegate that finds a person with whom (s)he shares 3 common characteristics. The delegates then return to their respective teams where their points are tallied and summed together to get the team score. Then follows a bonus round where delegates can find other people with whom they share 4, 5, or 6 common characteristics. They then have their points tallied in their teams.
Team scores are then announced and the top team declared. Thereafter, delegates enjoy a group photograph. During the awarding session, the top 3 delegates and the top 3 teams are awarded.
